HOWTO: GAMING
Let me be really clear about whose work this is. This is TmarTn’s homework! On September 29 he sat down with Rockstar’s big Game Informer interview, read the whole thing, and went through all twelve new screenshots on camera. He’s the most reliable GTA voice on YouTube, and I mostly just took notes.
What I added is the sorting. A lot of any breakdown is the creator reading between the lines, and that’s the fun part, but it isn’t the same as Rockstar saying it. So every point below wears a stamp. Watch his video for the full twenty minutes; it’s embedded at the bottom too.
Everything already confirmed about the game lives in the GTA 6 file.

WEATHER
Tropical storms and hurricanes hit Leonida. Rockstar describes heavy clouds, strong winds and so much rain that water gushes off roof edges and lamp posts, with thunder and lightning lighting up the clouds.
Weather is local now. Fully dynamic clouds roll across the map, so you can sit in sunshine and watch a storm hammer somewhere else, which is the most Florida thing imaginable.
A new wind system: offshore breezes after sunset, ripples across the water, swamp grass bending in the gusts.
Rain leaves puddles that stay after the storm passes, and the right light makes rainbows.
Rockstar didn’t say how often big storms come or whether they touch the story. TmarTn thinks one has to: he points to Jason patching leaks at his place in the Keys in earlier footage.
THE REAL KEYS, ANY SUMMER AFTERNOON. ROCKSTAR SAYS LEONIDA GETS THIS, AND WORSE.
WILDLIFE
More than 170 species: over 60 kinds of birds, over 30 land mammals, plus fish and reptiles. Think manatees, flamingos, pelicans and alligators.
Invasive species made the cut too: green iguanas, cane toads, feral cats and monkeys.
Fur is properly simulated, and it gets wet, dirty and matted depending on where the animal has been.
Animals are sorted into rare, discoverable and legendary, and the Florida panther is on the list.
He’s seen exactly one panther in real life, so he’s calling it now: the panther is a legendary hunt you’ll chase for ages.
The real Grassrivers. Somewhere in there, a gator is waiting for its close-up.
EVERY REGION, AND THE REAL PLACE BEHIND IT ▸LEONIDA
It’s the biggest map Rockstar has ever made, roughly twice the size of GTA V’s, and denser.
Six regions, including Vice City, Grassrivers (the Everglades), Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga, a national park on the northern border.
Ambrosia is factories, refineries and a biker gang that runs the place. Port Gellhorn is faded tourist traps, cheap motels and dead strip malls.
Mount Kalaga draws on Panama City, Jacksonville, Ocala and small rural towns: ATV trails, mud-park parties, mountain biking, bass fishing, a private golf course, and fly-in communities where houses come with a hangar.
Asked about Central Florida, Rockstar said it distills the state down to what serves the game. That’s a careful non-answer.
TmarTn grew up in Central Florida and isn’t letting it go: theme parks, the Space Coast and a Daytona-style speedway have to be in there somewhere, or come later.
NPCS
Pedestrians now vary in height and build, with freckles, moles and real tan lines. The retiree who’s been sunbathing since 1986 is in.
Clothes and tattoos change by region, so you can guess where someone’s from by looking at them. Rockstar calls it the biggest range of garments it has made.
More than 25 side activities, among them fishing, kayaking, scuba diving, base jumping, mini golf, the gym and airboats.
SCREENSHOTS
The biker bar belongs to the Final Chapter motorcycle club, the Ambrosia gang. He reckons Jason ends up fighting them.
A crop duster over an orange grove with the city on the horizon could be an honest flying job. He’s betting on the less legal option.
The storm rolling over the Keys curls in a way that looks almost like an eye. He wonders whether we’re standing inside a hurricane.
He places the waterfall hike at Mount Kalaga, with someone lining up a jump off the bridge.
Jason on an ATV with a hunting rifle, deer all around: the hunting is real, and the wetland shot is packed with gators, spoonbills and wood storks.
His wishlist: live events. A hurricane that reshapes the map for everyone, or a concert in the style of Fortnite’s.
WATCH THE WHOLE THING
Twenty minutes, every screenshot, and the bits I left out. This is his work. Go give him the view.

Yes. Rockstar said so in the interview. How often they hit, and whether they change missions, hasn’t been said.
Is Disney World in it?
Not confirmed. Rockstar dodged the Central Florida question, and the theme parks are TmarTn’s hope, not a fact.
Can you hunt?
The screenshots show Jason with a hunting rifle among deer, and the interview mentions rare and legendary animals. The details are still to come.
Hurricanes are real, the panther is probably real, and Disney World is a dream. Thank you, TmarTn, for doing the homework.
